TLDR fix for Microsoft Word;
- I faced this issue on my Mac, with Office 365 products, especially Word
- Whenever I opened a word file, it showed me an error
- Error details: Run-time error '53': File not found: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/MACPDFM/MacPDFM.framework/Versions/A/MacPDFM
- This popup was annoying and I needed to click on 'End' quite a few times for this to go away
- I tried so many different methods to make it go away but it wouldn't
- A good old 'move to bin' / delete file came to my rescue and I don't see this error anymore
- Open Microsoft Word and navigate to the Tools menu, select Templates and Add-ins, and uncheck the boxes for linkCreation.dotm
- Quit Word (comman+Q)
- Click on the Finder icon in your dock (not the word doc, the dock on your mac)
- Go to your desktop
- Hold the Option key and click on the GO menu item from your Apple menu (available on top)
- Select Library to open the Library folder
- In your Library folder, go to: Group Containers > UBF8T346G9.Office > User Content >Startup > Word folder
- You'll find a "LikeCreation.dotm" file, this is the add-in file. Move it to Bin
- Open word again and voila! No More!
TLDR fix for Microsoft PowerPoint;
- Go to Toos > PowerPoint Add-ins
- Unselect/uncheck the SaveAsAdobePDF option from the popup window
- Quit PowerPoint…
